Lawrence (Larry) Dietz, General Counsel and Managing Director, Information Security, heads TAL Global’s information and logical security division and provides litigation and legal support for our clients. Larry is responsible for helping clients secure what is most important to businesses today: information and intellectual property.

With over 30 years of diversified military and commercial information security and legal experience, Larry brings a wealth of knowledge to his position. Since the late ‘70s, Larry has been a noted industry analyst covering information security products and services. He has worked with Frost & Sullivan, Zona Research and Giga Information Group. He has also shared his expertise via a wide array of articles and reports and is a sought-after speaker. Most recently, Larry served as Senior Director of Government Strategy and Solutions for Symantec Corporation.

A licensed attorney in California, Larry is a recognized authority in compliance and has lectured internationally on SOX and other critical legal issues related to the internet and electronic commerce. Larry served in the U.S. Army Reserve, retiring as a colonel. His assignments included a variety of intelligence and PSYOP positions.
