In Hyderabad, part of India's "Silicon Valley," TAL Global provided a comprehensive security audit for a major U.S.-based software company. The assignment included performing a due diligence survey of the political climate to assess the local geographical risk along with a detailed evaluation of internal and external factors that could affect security. Major shortcomings in the existing security procedures were uncovered, including the absence of pre-employment background checks, and inconsistent and unclear guidelines for the use of identification badges. Critical faults in plant design including the proximity of gas lines running parallel to electrical and data cables were discovered. Recommendations to eliminate these and other serious safety infractions made by TAL Global were successfully deployed resulting in strengthened plant security, enhanced employee safety and greater ROI for the company.
