A company's most precious assets are its people. When a potentially volatile situation threatened the safety of its employees, a large manufacturing client in Louisville, Kentucky, turned to TAL Global for help. Thanks to the astute observations of fellow employees and the company's human resources manager, one employee's bizarre behavior did not go unnoticed. After ascertaining that the employee had bi-polar disorder, the company asked TAL Global to conduct a threat assessment. Interviews with co-workers determined that the subject was becoming progressively more threatening, was collecting weapons and had moved out of his home after an altercation with his wife. A background check revealed a pattern of substance abuse and a warrant for domestic violence as well as cruelty to animals. The TAL Global professional team immediately established protective services at the Kentucky plant and initiated 24-hour surveillance of the unstable employee. Working together with our client and local law enforcement, TAL Global was able to facilitate an uneventful arrest on existing warrants. The subject was eventually remanded to a psychiatric care hospital and long term treatment program.
